Baby cards

I am expecting a new baby niece within the next few days, and I've spent hours and days trying to come up with a suitable baby card. It's kind of become an obsession. I'm still not sure about my current "final" version, but I'm hoping Baby Barker will come soon and my decision will be made.

One of my all time favorite baby cards was made by Joanne Basile.

I adore the paper she used and am sad that it's no longer available. I even bought the stamp set she used, from Papertrey Ink, called Bitty Baby Blessings, because it was one of the cutest baby sets I've seen.

Then I sat down to start creating and I got stuck. For months. Finally, I came across a card challenge from Scrapbook Circle, from whom I purchase monthly scrapbooking kits.

So here it is, my baby card for soon to be Baby Lily Barker...
