I was inspired to make a little project for my mom by a friend who recently had a baby. Her husband put together a montage of family pictures and videos pre- and post-birth (thank goodness he spared us the intimate details). It was really beautiful and funny.

I used iMovie, which makes it easy to put together the photos and video, add music and titles, and then burn to a DVD. The two songs are sung by Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt, two of my favorite female artists.

I also plan to make some handmade cards for my mom, but since I was late getting started, this will have to do for now. She watched it this morning and enjoyed it, and I hope you will too.
