March design team projects

Good evening! I finally finished my March design team projects for Right at Home Scrapbooking (now that it's April...lol), and thought I'd post them here.

The first project was a mini book that I filled with photos taken by my colleague, Michael Ross, MD. Mike is an oncologist by day and a nature photographer in his spare time. His work is really amazing. One of his favorite subjects is insects, so I borrowed a few photos of butterflies to fill my book. You can see more of his work here.
My next project was cards, and I did two that are quite different. The first features a stamp by My Favorite Things, which is one of my new favorite companies. They were a sponsor of a recent event that I attended, Stamp New England, and after attending I order several fun new sets.

The second card uses Paper from Bella Boulevard, some pink pom pom ribbon, self-adhesive pink rhinestones, and a cute acrylic butterfly that I colored with copic markers. Do you have any copics yet? They're great, alcohol based markers that you can use sort of like watercolors to blend and shade. I'm still a copic newbie, but I hope to learn more next week at Right at Home's class on copics.

Lastly, I created 2 scrapbook layouts, both featuring my favorite subject, my daughter Charlotte. I'll post one now and the second this weekend. In case you can't read the title, it says "her first tricycle". These pics were taken in May 2006, when Char was 2 1/2 and still lovin' her binky.
Tonight is the last night of my favorite show, ER. It has been my favorite since the very first episode, and I'm so sad to see it go. I agree that it's time to end, but no other medical drama will ever measure up. And no, House does NOT count!
